About the company

The mechanism of FRITSCHI bindings resembles a clockwork of a Swiss watch. FRITSCHI headquarter is located in Reichenbach, at the very heart of the Bernese Alps – and that is the place where all components are assembled together in order to create the highest quality product. Before leaving the factory, all bindings are meticulously tested for safety and functionality. All components used by Fritschi are made in Switzerland and they undergo all required quality testing.

All binding models and the whole production process are regulated by strict technical requirements that are backed by suitable TÜV certificates. FRITSCHI bindings also comply with the most demanding quality norms of DIN ISO.

Since 2013, FRITSCHI collection has been expanded with the first pin binding – Vipec 12 Safety Tech Binding. The Vipec 12 model was the first pin binding to be equipped with an adjusted DIN settings of the lateral release – both in the front and back of the binding. This solution makes the binding one of the safest ski-touring bindings on the market. The Vipec 12 binding was designed to guarantee a maximal feel of the ski edge even in case of very wide skis, and at the same time this design minimises all unnecessary rotations and unstabilities. It is an ideal solution for wide touring skis – so it should not come as a surprise that it was awarded with the ISPO Golden Medal. The latest Vipec model has been constantly evolving and now it is sold under the name: VIPEC EVO 12.

In 2016, a new pin binding, TECTON 12, was launched on the market – this binding was dedicated to riders that appreciate the highest level of safety and security during aggressive shreds. Currently, the model has been improved and evolved into its latest generation: TECTON 13.
