Pieps is the only company producing a probe with an in-built transceiver pin-pointing a signal from a victim buried under snow. Their avalanche beacons are also innovative due to their Bluetooth technology and dedicated mobile apps – thanks to that the user can install software updates on their own, test individual antennas or conduct mock drills.

PIEPS, together with Black Diamond, are the only companies in the industry that produce a multi-use avalanche airbag with the JETFORCE technology. The Austrian company is also famous for their educational initiatives. Every year they organise avalanche trainings and participate in numerous conferences and symposiums on developments in life-saving mountaineering equipment.

The PIEPS offer is divided into a few categories. Besides avalanche transceivers and Jetforce backpacks, the Austrian producer also makes snow shovels and avalanche probes, ski-touring backpacks and additional accessories, like first aid kits and bivybags.
