They create backpacks and accessories from technical recycled materials—kitesurfing sails, balloons, safety harnesses, climbing ropes, and tents. Each piece is a unique artifact with its own history and traces of its previous life.

The products are made in Europe—in France and Portugal—often in partnership with sheltered workshops (ESAT). Artefact also offers a 32-year repair warranty—the first two years are covered entirely by the manufacturer, after which the customer covers only the shipping costs.

They collaborate with outdoor brands such as Patagonia, Arc’teryx, and Salomon, sourcing recycled materials from them and giving them new life.
